The Russian edition of Theodore Levin and Valentina Suzukey's book "Where Rivers and Mountains Sing: Sound, Music, and Nomadism in Tuva and Beyond" has the Russian name "Music of New Nomads".
The book was published in Russia by the "Classics-XXI" Publishing House in 2012, has a soft cover, contains 336 pages and has an application with CD and DVD disks.
The audio and video application presents the sound world of nomads in its new technological context. CD-disk contains recordings of performances of the world-famous group Huun-Huur-Tu and samples of throat singing performed by other musicians such as Vasily Chazyr, Mergen Mongush, Eres-ool Mongush, Anatoly Kuular, Oleg Kuular, Sarymai Orchimaev , Tsengedorzh Gombozhav, Eugene Ulugbashev and others.
The DVD disc contains fragments dedicated to the tours of Huun-Huur-Tu in the USA, the lives of nomads, their singing skills and playing on national instruments. Performers: Huun-Huur-Tu, Anatoly Kuular, Abdulhamit Raimbergenov, Raushan Orazbaeva, Edil Khusainov, Vyacheslav Kuchenov and others.
