Feldman is a rather large man who knows how to fall asleep quickly. And he fell asleep as usual , and woke up to say the following: "Now that everything has become so simple, you need to be able to do a lot." And then, as if on command, he blacked out again.
Music-making as such, in Feldman in particular, is a triumph of the fact that we have nothing.
To bring you up to date, let me say that I (cage) am constantly changing, while Feldman's music is more self-perpetuating than changing.
I have never had, as I have now, any doubt of her beauty.
